The YBC is held at Gunwharf Bowlplex every saturday morning between 09.00 and 12.00, it is run by volunteers and some of the best bowling coaches in the country. It caters for all ages between 7 and 18 and of all abilities. The club is very successful, been Inter City Traveling League champions, some members are English and European Champions.

We have a lot of up and coming youngster who train hard to achieve England team standard. To do this they not only have to put in the training on saturdays but attend a series of England ranking tournaments throughout the country, this is where you come in as potential sponsors. It costs every bowler between £25 and £50 per tournament not including any accommodation costs for the tournaments furthest away ie. Leeds, Nottingham. Below is listed some of the tournaments

As you can imagine it gets very costly so the club is looking for sponsors to help cover some of the costs for the bowlers, whether you sponsor a single tournament or all the tournaments your contributions will be gratefully received. For your sponsorship we will advertise your company at the tournaments in a way that is acceptable to yourselves and within the rules of our governing body the BTBA.The normal way is shirt logo's.If you think you can help please contact Bev Jones at bevjones@portsmouthybc.co.uk
